Core Requirements
  1. Must hold a valid Eye Examination License issued by the relevant health authority in the UAE (DOH or DHA).
  2. It is preferred that the candidate is able to obtain a residence visa under personal sponsorship or spouse sponsorship, and the company will cover the residency costs.
  3. Good conduct, professional ethics, and respectful behavior when dealing with colleagues and customers.
  4. Ability to work as part of a team and integrate within a collaborative work environment.
  5. Willingness to accept instructions and guidance and apply them accurately.
  6. Preferably residing in a nearby area to ensure reliable and timely arrival for shift schedules.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

First: Core Professional Duties

  1. Conduct comprehensive eye examinations with high accuracy according to approved professional standards.
  2. Diagnose refractive errors and determine correct prescriptions for glasses and lenses.
  3. Prescribe optical lenses (glasses and contact lenses) based on the customer’s needs.
  4. Fit contact lenses and train customers on proper usage and care.
  5. Maintain the cleanliness of the examination room, prepare equipment, and sanitize tools as required.

Second: Operational Responsibilities (Based on Company Policy)

  1. Maintain daily cleanliness and organization of the examination room and showroom.
  2. Participate in receiving, organizing, and arranging merchandise, including attaching barcodes and pricing.
  3. Accurately enter data and invoices into the company’s electronic system and follow the provided instructional training materials.
  4. Participate in sales operations, customer service, and issuing invoices according to company procedures.
  5. Ensure the accuracy of daily financial entries and perform daily cash closing with full precision.
  6. Comply with the company’s Dress Code Policy, including wearing the official uniform during working hours.
  7. Wear the white medical coat during eye examinations and while working inside the showroom.
  8. Adhere to shift schedules, including arriving 15 minutes early for the morning shift for preparation.
  9. Follow all company policies related to discipline, appearance, attendance, and administrative instructions.
